About the Book
Finding Our Way Back to What We Are: A Year of Reflection, Awareness, and Remembering is a yearlong daily reflection book for readers seeking a deeper spiritual life without the desire to sift through religious doctrine.
Through 365 daily contemplations, the book explores awareness, healing, recovery, forgiveness, oneness, trust, grace, gratitude, and love in action. Each reading is grounded in lived experience and invites the reader to pause, reflect, and notice what is stirring within.
Each day includes a short reflection, a grounding analogy, a guiding spiritual or inspirational quote, a question for contemplation, and journaling space titled “What I’m Noticing Today.”
This is not a book that asks you to believe anything. It asks only that you pause, breathe, and notice.

About the Author
Rick Gregory is a writer, contemplative, and fellow traveler on the path of remembering what is most true. His work is shaped by a lifelong spiritual journey marked by curiosity, courage, and a deep longing to live from LOVE rather than fear.
After years within traditional religious structures, Rick began a gradual process of questioning, deconstructing, and rediscovering, learning that LOVE is far more expansive, compassionate, and inclusive than the limits he had been taught. Drawing from wisdom found across spiritual traditions, contemplative practices, recovery principles, and lived experience, his writing is rooted not in doctrine, but in awareness.
Rick writes for those who sense there is something more, something quieter and deeper than striving, judgment, or separation. His words are offered as invitations rather than instructions, meant to be met slowly and honestly. He believes awakening is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering who we have always been beneath conditioning and forgetting.
At the heart of his work is the understanding that LOVE is our source, our ground, and our home, beyond gender, belief, or form and that separation from it has never truly been possible.
Rick shares his life and spiritual journey with his husband, Glen, whose unconditional LOVE, steady presence, and shared devotion to growth continue to shape and deepen his path. Together, they walk with a commitment to kindness, honesty, and returning again and again to LOVE.
